My DD is 1 year old and goes to nursery. In her age group alone there are 8 staff members.
Should I give a small individual gifts to all 8 staff members or should I buy a nice box of chocolate box/bake biscuits to place in staff room for everyone to enjoy?
I want them all to feel special as they are doing a fantastic job, but I don't want to have to mortgage my house for the occasion.. :)
Any ideas/advice would be highly appreciated

Well you could buy a tine of ( No names mentioned but most are only 5pounds now for a big tin) chocolates.. Then, take out a selection of each one, put this little lot in a little piece of either see through/clear paper or xmas wrap, gather all of the sides together, so sweets are in a sort of ball, tie the gathered bit just above the ball with a string/bit of ribbon and give each person one plus an xmas card to go with it..Then put the rest of the box in the staff room.. Maybe?? You can by box's of 20/30 xmas cards in pound shops. plus fancy string. So there you go ..nice little gift for 8 people for less than a tenner.
We need to remember..it is the thought that counts,,and in this case, the effort you have made too.. even better .... If they are not chocy people they can always take it home and give it to a friend/child that is/are..
Don't feel that a gift has to be expensive,,or from a shop..I love personal effort put into it..no matter how cheep/or small the gift..the thought was really big..
