Defer Pre school place

My daughter has been offered a preschool place starting in Sept 2011. i have had her on the waiting list since she was 15 months and now she has a place. the problem is we havent moved into the area where the school is yet, this wont happen until Christmas 2011. i was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to defer preschool places for just 1 term or if i mention deferring the place if i may lose it all together.

Hi, depends vastly on the pre-school, their policies & whether they are oversubscribed or not. Call & discuss with them.

Can't you commute it for a term? I cycled 7 miles each way for 2 months until we moved, but it helped me meet parents and integrate into the new area better.
