Questions about Nursary and Pre-school

My DD is currently 18 months and has a nanny 3 days per week (as I work). I plan on stopping work next year and therefore want to start thinking about nursary then pre-school education.

By then she will be about 2 1/2 - based on this how often would you recommend she go? .. I was thinking 3 mornings per week - as a way for her to socialise with others - does that appear about right? then when do i step it up for pre-school ie more often? for longer? .. sorry Im sooo clueless when it comes to this - so any experiences would be great!

I think that's about right. Any less and it's hard for her to get used to it. That's what I did from 2-3, then upped it a little.
