We have slots at northbridge nursery and phoenix school starting next september when my Dd turns 3. The phoenix place is the afternoon session which is not great. I know it is a feeder school to South Hampstead which is the main reason I would send my dd there. North bridge nursery I am not keen on, basement and I can't see hardly any toys or space for them. However it would mean she secures a place at a good school. If she goes to Phoenix there is no guarantee of south hampstead and it finishes at 7. , and we would have lost our place at Northbridge. Any advice realllllly appreciated :)

Hi,
Pheonix is not a 'feeder' for SHHS. It is part of the UCS group but even the boys face competitive entry to the Junior Branch. Both schools get children into top private schools but NBH does not prepare for 7+- they want the girls until 11. If you want 7+ entry, Pheonix is fine. You might also look at Hampstead Hill which was great for my kids and does all day sessions.

Thank you so much for your reply. Been checking everyday! Do you know anything about NBH nursery? Also have you heard that what nbh learning environment is like? We cant consider HH, not on waiting list and too late. Thank you again.

Are you sure you are too late for HHS? Worth a phone call.
I have friends who are very happy with NBH at all ages. Have you looked at it during the day?
