Pre-school: depends on when they take them, 2, 2.5 or 3.

If it is a setting that only does 3 hour sessions e.g. 9-12, 12.30-3.30: then it's up to you to transport them to a daycare nursery if you need all day care.

Most all-day settings will count a day as 6 hours and (although you will pay a top up) you will use the free hours and have a place for your working day.

Does that make sense Wink

If your child is at anursery setting then they will be following the same curriculum as a pre-school, which is the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Your child will be entitled to 15 hours free from the term after he is 3, which is probably September if he is 2 and 1/2 now. There is no need to move him at all, as it is all preperation for school.
