Is one preschool session ok?

Dd1 is 3.5. She goes to a private nursery 2 days a week & does preschool there using 4 of her free sessions. We've recently moved to a new area (only 6 miles from where we used to live) and in September dd will hopefully go to the local school (it's 5 mins walk so can't imagine we won't get in).

Anyway ive just contacted the children's centre attached to the school to request dd do a session there so she can get to know children with whom she is likely to go to school. The children's centre were reluctant to let her do just one session but have agreed. I think she will be fine. When she was 18 months we started her at nursery just one day & again they were concerned how she'd settle but she did fine and only started an extra day when the vouchers kicked in.

She is very sociable so I'm not too worried but does anyone else have any opinions?

Thanks :)

I can't move her any more as the preschool is only mornings & her nursery sessions are the only thing that keep me sane!

i think it depends on the child really. My eldest wasn't fine but my second would be.
