Pre Prep Nursery - any difference??

Do they tend to be more formal?? Less fun??

More formal than what?

All settings, including those in private schools, have to follow the play based EYFS, but obviously there can be wide variation in how this is put into practice across all types of nursery.

You should be able to find out the style of the ones you're interested in by visiting.

The one my DTs go to is a lot of fun - don't see why there should be a difference there. Why would any pre-school not be fun?

But - it is more formal - in that they do have a uniform (a track suit) which is compulsory.
