I haven't the foggiest idea how I go about getting my child into pre school. Do you have to apply, or does the local authority send you out some info with what to do and when?
My ds will be 3 in January, and apart from ringing the local school when he was about a year old to 'put his name down' as interested, I've done nothing else. Should I be doing something else? I am seriously clueless. Blush

If you want your child to attend a nursery attached to a school then contact the school and ask for an application form, or they will tell you how to go about applying for a placement. If you contact your local council they will send you a list of all the preschools and nursery schools in the borough.

Thank you for that. I do want him to go to the nursery attached to the school so I will give them a ring.
