Born at 24 weeks 3 days

Katherine is now 5 days old and tiny. Really scared about every day and even every hour.

Any one out there experienced anything like this? Would appreciate any advice/support.

johnworf - yes because baby is breach (legs presenting) and because there are no fluids in which baby can turn/be turned. Estimated weight when scanned yesterday was 21b 12.

Babyjamas - thanks for your post. Glad all was well with your babies. I understand when you say 5 weeks in hospital was a small price to pay for having your baby alive and well. I just feel so sad that I had planned to spend time with my 5 yr old before baby came along and now not only will I not have that 1:1 time with him, but I would be away from him before the birth as well. I worry that he would start to resent the baby for taking his mum away for so long
