33 week baby development

Hi,
My baby is corrected age 7 months but actual age 9 months. She is rolling both directions, sits with support, gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth,simles, laughs, blows raspberries, busy looking around the place at what is going on, plays with toys, answers her name sometimes, loves interacting with her brother.
The only thing is she is very quite with making sounds and chat. She will make a noise now and again but its not very often. I wanted to get her checked with our doctor but my husband said she is fine and that I'm just worrying and I need to give her time. I'm just wondering were other babies very vocal at this age. Thanking you.🙂

My DH has been remarkably blasé about anything I’ve ever raised. Unless he works in a childcare related field and has seen many babies or he’s qualified in areas relating to child development I’d tend to largely ignore him. That doesn’t mean that you should worry though. Just maybe look into it a bit more.

You could start with the Ages & Stages for 8 months. It covers 7 months of age and has a communication section.

Try to remember though that your Lao will be at the earlier end of the scale and also, they’re not expected to score white in every section
