Had a stay in hospital last night after a positive actim partus test (can indicate labour is close), doctor ordered an urgent cervical length scan and growth scan. Baby growing fine but sonographer didn't complete the cervical scan as they said it doesn't change the management if it is shortening.
I would have liked them to complete this for peace of mind.
Any one have any experience in cervical length scans in the third trimester and if they start any treatment?
