PPROM at 35 weeks

Anyone able to share some experiences? Waters went yesterday at 34+7 so I’ve been kept in hospital and likely to stay for a couple more days in case I go into labour. They’d ideally like me to get to 37 weeks. Anyone had either a similar experience or experience of a having 35 weeker and what kind of help they needed? Thank you!

Hi, I had PPROM at 31+0, baby was born at 31+4. They said it was 50/50 if I had baby or stayed pregnant. 35 weeks is a great gestation, baby is most likely to do very very well!

Mine was born at 35+5 after my waters went at 30 weeks. Spent the entire time in hospital but it was quite a long time ago. Had a section booked but went into spontaneous labour at 35 weeks. Baby was a good size, just over 5lbs. Spent 17 days in SCBU due to issues feeding and a couple of dusky episodes.

Is currently at uni having a ball and no health issues.

Thank you both, these stories are exactly the boost I was looking for! Lovely to hear yours is now at uni and doing well @Tulipvase. The feeding is definitely a concern (I’d like to bf if poss), but I guess we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it!
