Using Nutriprem 2 after 6 months

Does anyone know why the guidance on Nutriprem 2 is to stop using it after 6 months? We have a lot left so I was wondering if there was a specific health reason or maybe it’s just that NHS prescriptions should be stopped from 6 months?

Hi op, we used nutriprem 2 until DS was 12 months on prescription on advice of consultant. There are no negative health consequences that I am aware of but I think the nutrients that it replaces should start to come from weaning and food. We had a long weaning journey and DS was still catching up.
I would use up what you have 👍

We used until 14 months actual ☺️
