Hi all,

We had a 26 weeker just over 3 years ago, so he's closing in on 3yo adjusted. He has chronic lung disease and we generally managed to avoid illness during lockdown (a blessing in that sense perhaps). Since things opened up he's had a string of illnesses, basically being constantly ill. He was fine with this for months and must have had about 10 viruses and been unphased.

The last few however have hit him hard, with the last two warranting hospitalisation with high flow, nebulizer and steroids. He's once again ill and we've been watching and waiting but today all the signs are there again. Glued to me, rattling breath, hot as heck and my partner is prepping the hospital bag as we speak. It just feels like it's getting worse. He was so robust for so long and now is so fragile again. He had covid twice without incident. The last hospitalisation was a rhinovirus :( has anyone else found this pattern?

So sorry that you didn't get any replies @Sillymummies123 and that he's been so poorly. How are things now?
