Hello all,

I have just found out I am pregnant and I have a son (2)who was born 25+1 after I had placenta abruption. Whilst he is fine now, we went through a 4 month hospital stay with many complications and operations.
Now that I am pregnant again I am so scared this could happen again. My heart is racing just typing this :(
I would just love to hear of any mummy's stories of similar experiences of pregnancies and birth stories after a premature birth please. Did you go full term? Did it happen again?

Xxxxxxx

I didn’t want to read and not reply. I had 2 totally routine pregnancies (41 and 42 weeks) before my placental abruption pregnancy. You should be able to ask your consultant about the likely hood of it happening again. Hopefully everything will be a lot more straight forward for you this time around xx

Hi, i had a PA at 37 weeks. A horrendous experience to be honest, was simply lucky I got to hospital in time otherwise both myself and DS would have died as I basically bled out. I am now pregnant again very early weeks, and I really am feeling the same level of anxiety. I cant answer your question but O can say I have so far read and heard so many positive stories from women around the world who have gone on to have healthy births even after a previous abruption.

@Preemiemommy @SalP15 Hi ladies, hope you are ok. I had my daughter at 32 weeks back in November after an abruption at home and I'm only just able to research placental abruption because of how scared I am of what happened. How did your pregnancies go?
