Formula milk

Hi
Has anybody took baby home from special baby unit and changed milk?
My wee girl was born at 35+5 and is getting home tomorrow at 12 days old.
She has been on cow and gate in the neonatal ward but I had bought Kendamil is it ok to put her on to that or should I stick to cow and gate?

We changed from SMA which DD had in special care to cow and gate, the nurses said it wasn't a problem to change, and it wasn't!

I had bought some Aptimal to use at home but DD was born suddenly at 34 weeks and they didn't have that in hospital so we used cow and gate while there. I checked with HV and she said it would be ok to change her to Aptimal but DD didn't like it so I donated what we had and stayed with the cow and gate.

I have been give special premature baby milk on prescription?

I work on nicu and it's fine to change milk if they are on normal formula.
It's only if they are on prescription formula that it's not ok.
