Hospital isn't providing parents with food so wondered what people would recommend I take for myself. Assuming there is a microwave but maybe no fridge. Will be in about 5 days approx.

All I can think of is bringing fruit and things like soup/pot noddle?!

We lived on flapjacks and coop lunch meal deals!

I used to bring microwave ready meals, flapjacks, bagels (which I ate cold) and other high-carb, high-fat things. The goal was eating quickly and staying full do I didn't care that it was super unhealthy.

I stayed in hospital with my prem baby for about 10 days

I can remember eating bought quiches (lasted a couple of days kept in a cool place in my room), avocado, hob nobs, crisps, fruit.

Soup, packet noodles, beans would be good if there is a microwave

Is there a food shop near the hospital? There wasn’t for me but if there is that obviously makes life a lot easier.
