Blood thinning injections?!

I had my daughter 2 days ago at 30 weeks exactly! She is thriving and doing so well I couldn't be happier!

I did have a C section though and have been given a 6 week course of blood thinning injections and I am so so scared to do them but I know I need to, if I do it a certain way will it hurt less? Or am I gonna have to just grin and bare this

congratulations on your new daughter!

I feel your pain over these injections, I used my thighs and held my breath as I broke the skin then breathed out as I injected, helped to distract me. I also used the bits of my stomach that I could feel properly post section 😂

They are unpleasant but six weeks goes so quickly that it'll be over before you know it.

Congratulations on your little girl.

If you can get someone else to do it for you.
Much easier than doing it yourself. Less build up.

Its scary at first, but honestly you get used to it and it gets easier and easier.

I have to do them once a day from when I'm 12 weeks pregnant until 6 weeks postpartum and I've found that its less painful around the sides of my bellybutton rather than under my bellybutton area.
