Cervical stitch

Hello! Anyone had the shirodkar stitch and been pregnant with twins? Has it been successful? Or any problems?

I hope you’re doing OK. I’m not pregnant with twins, just a singleton but my first was prem and I have a short cervix.

I have opted for progesterone with fortnightly monitoring and if my cervix shortens, we’ll put a stitch in later. My consultant said there’s no evidence that either works better than the other so I’ve gone for the non surgical option first with stitch as a back up.

Not sure if that’s helpful? Things might be totally different with twins.
