Moving into own room

My DS was born at 35 weeks. He is doing really well but sleep is dreadful he keeps waking and will only sleep if I feed him in the night. He is 5 months (23 weeks) now and we are thinking of moving him into his own room as we think he will sleep better without us waking him up by moving (DH snoring etc). I am just paranoid about doing the wrong thing!! Anyone else move before 6 months?

Personally I never did, especially with my preemie. Are you sure that your son is waking because of disturbance rather than just his sleep cycle? Try making a noise and seeing how often it wakes him. None of my kids slept well but it was nothing to do with noise, just normal baby stuff and needing comfort.
