Baby poop help

Hi all my baby is 17days old and was born 6 weeks early I've just been changing his nappy and his poop is pretty dark brown/black and a bit sticky not the normal yellow colour I remember with my first baby, should I be worried? He's formula fed and not in any medication,
Please advise as not sure if this is normal in premature babies

Thanks

It's normal, my perm baby initially had dark black sticky poo for the first few days before it started to get lighter/green coloured

It's called meconium and it lined his intestines in the womb. Once it's cleared it should go back to yellow. 17 days seems quite a while though, so could you ring the ward/health visitor/midwife for advice?
