Can the steroid injection give me a red, hot arm?

Tbh I’ve been in bed all day, I’ve had my second steroid injection yesterday but earlier today I noticed my arm felt warm to touch, feels slightly sensitive and it looks a bit flushed and red.

I haven’t got any swelling or pain but it’s just so warm to touch.

Could h thy is just be a coincidence or has anyone got experience of this? Should I be worried?

I would have thought any dangerous reaction would have made me feel very poorly by now?

Could just be a local reaction which goes away in 24 hrs or so. Google cellulitis and be aware of symptoms of that to make sure it isn’t that.

Thanks.

I don’t think it’s cellulitis, I’ve just had a googled and it’s not swollen and it’s not bright red or blistered it’s just warm to touch and looks flushed.

It doesn’t help that I am a total panicker.

Hey I’m a newbie here. I had both mine in my thigh. And one did come up red and swollen. It resolved after a week. Just kept massaging it.
