Sleepyhead and Prem babies - ok?

Hi all. Our prem baby (born at 32 weeks) has just come home after 4 weeks in the special care unit. He struggled in his crib last night (think it's too big for him!) We have a sleepyhead deluxe and I was thinking of putting this in the crib for him - do you know if they are suitable and safe for prem babies?
Thanks!

Congratulations on getting your little one home. Sleepyheads are not intended for night time sleeps.

This is from Mothercare website:

baby nests should always be used within a child-safe environment and under adult supervision
baby nests should not be placed within a cot, cot bed, moses basket or crib

Congratulations!
We swaddled our LO when we got home for the same reason, they were so tucked in whilst they were in SCBU, so they wouldn't sleep the first night in a huge Moses basket!
We did start using a sleepyhead for day time naps almost right away, and then we used it at night from about 4 months old actual (against the official advice).

They are not recommended for “unsupervised sleeping” so definitely follow the Lullaby Trust guidelines - flat new mattress and no bumpers or extra items in cot

Thanks all! My initial reaction was not to use it but seemed to be so many conflicting thoughts so thought I'd check!
