Best sling for preemie, under 5lbs

I'm wondering if there any updates on what sling is best for preemies? My daughter is an ultra preemie, born 26+3. She's now home with us (yay). I was given a caboo, but I can't get it tight enough to support her back. I've also heard that caboo's aren't recommended for babies under 5lbs. Dd isn't yet 4lbs (she's 3.8lbs). Can anyone with a preemie of a similar weight tell me what worked for them? Thank you x

Is there a sling library near you? My friend had a stretchy wrap when her DS was that tiny x

Hi, yes and no, it's only open 2 hours a week and it's not very close. Was going someone had an answer so I could order, save me leaving the house as dd is still vulnerable.

I wonder if a normal stretchy would be better? You could have it as high and tight as you needed and if you folded it in half, length ways, it wouldn't be to wide inbetween her legs. I never got on with a caboo. I didn't feel it gave enough support.

A stretchy wrap but absolutely go to a sling library - even if it’s not very convenient it’s better to get a safe carry than trying to work it out yourself and potentially restrict a tiny babies breathing. It’s really worth the journey.

Alternatively look for a sling consultant who can visit you at home (they are quite common now).

Please don’t carry your baby in a sling (especially a caboo, your baby is too small) until you have had some professional help.

Your baby is too small! Use a bloody pram,
