Growth Spurts / Developmental Leaps

Would a 6 week prem baby have growth spurts / development leaps at his current age and also corrected age? He is now 9+4 weeks so 3+4 weeks corrected and we seem to have been having a nightmare time since around 6 weeks. I read somewhere that they are due rough patches around 3 weeks and between 6 and 8. Just want to know there is an end in sight! He has gone from wanting to feed constantly to refusing to sleep in his bed to eventually going 3 hours between feeds but taking 1-1.5 hours to feed and settle and now being super clingy during the day. Thank you

My son was born at 32 weeks. The emphasis in NNU was to get him feeding at four hourly intervals. When we got him home at 36 weeks we had exactly the same problem. After previously having two full term babies I can say it does take a while for a prem to fall into routine our little boy had several sporadic growth spurts until around 9 months old. I was unable to breast feed him though and we did find that Nutriprem caused us a lot of problems. It does seem like it's never going to end but they do eventually fall into a routin.

Thank you Morbodia :) do preemies follow wonder weeks at all? Term babies born at the same time are going through the 4 month sleep regression however Kian has only just started sleeping more than 3 hours at now 17weeks so really hoping he has passed that?! He does feed every 2 hours from 3am
