My 6 week old (adj) twin boy recently had a PM fitted due to Bradycardia and irregular heartbeats. His Atria is paced at 86% and his Vetricles is paced at 100%. Basically he's PM-dependant.
I have received vaults of information from Doctors and Surgeons but they don't have the experience of caring for someone who does. They have a medical view not a personal view. Are there any mums out there with a child who has a PM fitted? What's your experience. He won't be home soon so I'm trying to prepare myself and DC for when he does.
Staying in hospital has left me with plenty of time to think - which isn't always good!
