babys with stomas

hi all im new ere just wonderin if there is any body else out there who has a baby with a stoma? My daughter was born at 26weeks and got nec twice it nearly killed her she has been left with a stoma for life just wonderin if any 1else in same situation

Not got a baby, but my sister has a stoma - she had it done in her 20s because of severe ulcerative colitis. She lives a totally normal life, has a child of six. Her partner also has a stoma, they met through a support group. I know you must be worried and I'm sure others can come along and give better advice than me, but just wanted to say it's not been a problem fir my sister, who's 47 now. Good luck.
