I waited 2 weeks for my BPAS termination appointment to be told I have to wait another week for a scan!! Because my periods are irregular by then ill be just over 6 weeks (because i know when I ovulated) but according to last period date id be 7 nearly 8 it is still a long time to wait yet again this is my third baby.... I am debating how to keep it as I dont want to terminate that late I wanted it done at 4/5 weeks 😭 I have 2 children 1 is 3 years old has autism and 1 is 9 months old tomorrow I found newborn stage very hard as sleep deprivation was awful but we over worst now and she sleeps well... problems are my car is too small for 3 children and my son doesnt walk far due to his autsim so he has to have a pushchair he cant share one as he can crush his sister so he has single and she has single but with another means a double and a single I cant fit that in my car so I'd have to get bigger one ... I have a 2 bedroom house and my son cant share currently fighting to be on council list to get 3 bedroom house but that could be years! This is why i was going to terminate but I dont want to be that far and don't wish to wait any longer what do i do? Any advice?

Just wanted to message to say it sounds like you are in a really tough situation having a child with autism and two other littles ones would be incredibly tough.

I can't believe BPAS have postponed your appointment that's so hard for you :-(. I was exactly the same when I had my termination in November, just wanted it done quickly so the pregnancy didn't develop further. I had an abortion at 5and a half weeks. What I would say is, at least the delay in your appointment means you have more time to reflect and decide if it's what you really want. Sadly for me I rushed into it and just wanted it over with, since then I've been wracked with feelings of regret and grief and wish I would have continued the pregnancy.

sorry I haven't got any proper advice. I had my termination with MSI. Not sure if they can help in your area if a termination is what you 100% want.

lots of love and hugs to you ❤️

can you try another abortion provider? Hope you’re ok, it’s a stressful time waiting around for appointments etc. Can you book a counselling session with bpas/new provider in the meantime?

What! That does seem a long time. I don’t understand why they are needing to scan if you know when you ovulated and regardless if you will deffo be under 8 weeks anyway? Is there a NUPAS near ish you maybe you can go and collect the pills instead of waiting for post?

This is a good shout I will have a look! And no clue! She said doctor wont sign me off because I said I had irregular periods which is normal because I gave birth 9 months ago lol but she said doctors won't sign it off unless you had a scan 🤷‍♀️ wish I never said it now I had no idea it would mean that tbf
