Surgical Abortion Advice

Hi! I'm 5+2 and I have my second scan in 1 week. Shortly after, I'll have the surgical abortion. I wanted to come on here and ask for advice during this waiting process. Obviously, I do not want this baby. And each day it is inside me I'm just filled with anxiety, yet I haven't seen anyone online speak about the actual wait before an abortion?
What's your experience? Do you have any advice during this time?
I'm really looking forward to the surgery, and kinda just holding onto the feeling of that. I'm pretty young, only in my first year at university, so this is all very overwhelming. My partner (very supportive) and I suffered from a broken condom, which sucks because birth control pills don't react well with my body.
I'm pretty scared, and looking for either positive experiences or advice on here.

How come you need to have 2 scans? Sorry you are in this situation. Have you got support other than your bf? You will likely need it afterwards. You can also get the copper coil which doesn’t interfere at all and will also make sure you don’t have this again as it is a horrible experience. In terms of the wait I have no advice other than it is excruciating. But also make sure you are definitely definitely sure of your decision xx
