Hello,
I've recently discovered I'm pregnant. Im 6 weeks. Im 39 years old and have 3 children already. My daughter who's 14, has also just been diagnosed with Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and her curve has got worse in the last few months and we are now facing surgery. We will need to go to a hospital 4 hours away in the next couple of months to meet surgeons and have special xrays and scans. Then back to said hospital at some point after for surgery. This requires a weeks stay at least. Im now panicking about how we will cope with the potential of a newborn and also looking after our daughter who is going to have major surgery. We have no family to help. Its literally us.
It plays on my mind that I won't be able to cope. My hospital appointments on top of my daughter having her checks etc. And then what if my pregnancy doesn't go smooth? My last pregnancy was stressful towards the end. Giving birth etc. And then being away from baby to look after my daughter. I don't know if to continue my pregnancy!? Im so stressed and anxious. Its making me feel ill.
