Pregnant after taking Ella-One

I am pregnant after taking ELLA ONE.
I am in a state of worry. I am now worrying that something will be wrong with the baby or that this will cause a miscarriage.

has anybody had a healthy child after taking Ella One? I feel like this is so rare.

I have never personally taken EllaOne, but I looked on their website and it said this in their FAQ:
"Can EllaOne Harm a Baby?
No. If you are already pregnant, there is no evidence that ellaOne® will have any affect – harmful or otherwise – on the baby. ellaOne® cannot terminate an existing pregnancy. One of the most common myths about the morning after pill, is that it causes a ‘mini abortion’, however this is incorrect. The morning after pill delays or prevents ovulation, it does not terminate or interrupt an existing pregnancy.
If you suspect you might already be pregnant, then the pharmacist or healthcare professional will ask that you take a pregnancy test before they give you ellaOne®, to make sure this is not the case.
If you have taken ellaOne® while pregnant, you should contact your GP immediately."

I don't know if that's helpful to you, but hopefully your doctor will have more details for you if you contact them. Wishing you all the best.

Your baby is probably totally fine. You are going to be a great mom. Perhaps you could talk to the doctor just to be reassured by a professional. You go mama!

Just to update - this pregnancy ended up ectopic. I wouldn’t advise ELLA ONE to anybody! I’ve researched and found many like me who took Ella One and had ectopic pregnancies for the first time - real women not in studies.

grateful to have had two healthy pregnancies and children previously.

thanks for everyone’s support. If I knew what I know now I wouldn’t have gone near ELLAONE.

Wow @ajmae, I'm sorry for what you're going through but so relieved you went to a doctor and got the care you needed. Thank you for sharing your experience, hope you're okay.
