When to take the tablets

Hoping someone can help!

I have received my tablets from NUPAS and have today and tomorrow off work but I’m in work Friday. I work in a nursery so with lots of children and have 3 young DC myself (4,3 and 1). My plan was to take the first tablet Thursday night, go into work Friday and take the second tablets Friday evening as I won’t be back in work until Tuesday.

Do you think I would be best to take the tablets today/tomorrow whilst I’m off and no DC at home during the day and would I be ok for Friday at work? Or stick to the second lot of tablets on Friday evening and have the 3 days off after?

As they can wipe you out quite a bit, I had a night of no sleep plus sickness etc and it can make you feel hot/cold/shakey for a few hours, so I would give yourself the biggest window possible!

@Northernmum3 I think you will need some time off at some point OP. Once I'd taken my tablets I didn't "pass" the pregnancy straight away when I did it was my day off and I had a bit of a gush (all managed at home). Hope you are OK.

@rosiedaisygrass hi! I went with the first tablet thursday and the second lot yesterday. I took them at 6pm as my DC go to bed at 7. I was up until about 1am but managed some sleep after that. I feel ok today, sad but I know it’s the right thing. Now just hoping it’s all worked, there was lots of clots and I’m still bleeding quite a bit now.

@Nightlight8 thank you! I did take the second lot last night. I didn’t think I’d feel as sad as I did/do. I’ve got 3 days off now to hopefully reduce the amount of bleeding and feel better. It’s awful isn’t it but I just know it’s the best for my family now ☹️
