I'm really struggling with a discovery I made recently. DC1 was born in 2022. I had been taking sertraline on the advice of my GP to treat horrible anxiety and insomnia I developed during the pandemic which caused my career to implode for a while. I asked them if it was safe and they assured me it was the safest out there with very negligible risks. My DC1 was born with hirschprungs disease. I have recently found a study linking maternal use of SSRIs to hirschprungs disease. How can I forgive myself for this? How can I ever tell him?
