just thought I’d share my positive experience of the medical abortion to help others who are in the same position as I was.
took my first tablet mifepristone yesterday morning at 8. no side effects at all apart from sleeping quite a bit.
woke this morning, and felt quite nauseous.
inserted misoprostol this morning at 8:20 and started bleeding exactly one hour later. Lost a clot in the toilet and a little heavier bleeding. No other symptoms or pain. Half an hour later lost another clot and still bleeding. Then at around 11:45 I went to the toilet and lost my pregnancy sack on my tissue when wiping. Since then I have bled a little more but still no other symptoms. No nausea, no pain no dizziness nothing! I called bpas who assured me that was it, and I didn’t need the other two tablets. And just to keep al eye on the bleed.
I have since had a bit of period cramps but again that is it. Still bleeding but nothing to worrying.
I hope this helps other people. I was driving myself insane reading all the horror stories, but it really wasn’t bad at all so far.
