I had a surgical TOP due to health reasons 12 days ago.
my bleeding has calmed down significantly, mostly just when I wipe (sorry- TMI!)
more brown red watery colour now, and has flecks in it. Small tiny ‘bits’ so to speak.
Ive called my local gynae hospital where I had the procedure and she said ‘oh I’ve never heard of that- but I’m sure it’s fine’
I am on blood thinners, and also had the copper coil fitted at same time as TOP, if that makes any difference.
Just doesn’t seem quite right to me, and definitely not something I’ve ever experienced before with a normal period which is what they say post bleeding should be like.
The only time I’ve had anything similiar was when induced with my DS2 and it was induction pessary which had broken down and caused the ‘flecks’ when wiping…. It’s very similar!
Any advice is very appreciated 🙏🏻 xx
