Termination

I recently found out I am pregnant for the 4th time. Having a 4th child would be a challenge BUT the thing that is most concerning is the risk having had 3 c sections already.

I was told at my last c section I would need a c section and a senior surgeon to perform it due to scarring. At a private scan today they said the scar looks like it is still healing and has fluid around it (despite being 2.5 years ago).

So I’m considering of all the options. I feel stupid asking this at the grand old age of 35, but if I were to have a termination, how do I go about organising it? How long does it take to organise? Thank you.

im sorry you have got to make a difficult situation. if you are in the uk phone BPAS- they will be able to tell you if they provide the service in your area. if not they can signpost. make sure you also ask for counselling if you need it to process your feelings

Depending on your area BPAS, MSI or nupas.

but OP are you only considering abortion because of your scar? Please don’t only focus on that - it may not be an issue.

please only go ahead if it’s more than the scar anxiety. Plenty of women have 3 or more c sections with the support of medical teams. You might want to be sterilised if you kept the baby during your c section
