I want a baby

I am 34 years old - no children. I’m extremely, extremely broody to the point I think about it every day. I’m engaged and our wedding is booked for March next year. I need to fit into my wedding dress. When do you think is reasonable for us to start trying?! I feel like I’m going a bit loopy but I know it’s just because I’m super broody and hormonal. It’s very odd. I’m usually a very level headed person.

has anyone else experienced such a strong urge to fall pregnant?!

Yes, I'm now 43 and have the urge so you have plenty of time! I'd say you'd still comfortably get into your wedding dress at 12 weeks pregnant, if you don't want to wait until after the wedding but also don't want to be showing. Also bare in mind it won't always happen first try either, you could start tracking your ovulation over the next couple of months to give yourself an idea, then start trying in the new year.
