I went through the process of deciding to have an abortion, and it was honestly the hardest decision I've ever made. I had the procedure in England, where I could talk to a professional, but I didn’t find that helpful. What I really wanted was to hear from others—how they made their decisions and what it was like afterward. Reading real stories on this forum helped me a lot because I could tell by how I felt when reading them if something resonated with me or not, and that guided my decision.
It’s such a tough choice to make, especially with the pressure of time and the effects of hormones. I didn’t find much out there focused specifically on the decision-making process, which is why I’m thinking about putting together a book with anonymous stories about that part of it. Do you think this would be helpful? Would you want to take part?
