Shock news yesterday and only reaction was to not continue due to our current situation etc etc.

Completely clueless on what I need to do from here. Do I need to call my doctors?
I suspect I'm around a few weeks as tested a few days after missed period.

Might I have to take time off work? My employer will want to know why I'm not in work. I work full time and rarely have time off.

Sorry for the q's- I can't sleep and spiralling.

No you don't need to call your doctor immediately. Depending on where you are MSI and BPAS are fairly accessible. I went via MSI and had my consult completely over the phone (telemedicine). Depending on how far along you are you don't need to go in (I think earlier than 5 weeks you'll need a scan to confirm).

I went as far as opting out of having it noted on my GP record.

In terms of when to have it, I had a medical abortion after speaking on the phone to MSI. All the stuff was posted out to me, I didn't have to attend any clinics at any time. When they gave me a phone appointment during a time I was working they were great at rescheduling so I cod take the call. I work full time didn't need to take time off work. I could plan it so that it was passed on a Friday night and had time to recover over the weekend. The medical abortion route is a two step process, the first step I did on Thursday evening and was fine enough to go into work it didn't have much affect on how I felt apart from feeling slightly nauseous and more gassy.

Try and speak to one of the providers mentioned above first, hopefully it will be as seamless as possible.

Thank you. That's really helpful and so informative. I've read a lot but nothing compares to an actual experience.

I've had a look and BPAS is close to me so I've requested contact through them.

I'm 4 weeks pregnant at the moment going by my dates.
