Abortion failed anyone got any similar stories??

So I did the abortion at home not last Saturday the Saturday before it failed nothing happened then ended up in hospital with suspected eptopic as they couldn't see baby on scan then had to go back a week later to see baby on scan as they didn't read my notes saying I was an abortion case and I had to actually tell the nurse when she was trying to book me in for another scan that I was in the middle of an abortion I was only here because it failed (awful thing to go through honestly her face dropped) anyway so they can see baby 5 weeks 5 days no heartbeat but that's not unusual i was told I. Now 6 weeks 1 day and was told by BPAS I must wait till NEXT FRIDAY to have another scan to see if there is a heartbeat as they said if there isn't I have to have the Injection but if there is I can re try the pill 🙈 I'll be 7 weeks and 1 day!! I wanted this over at 4 weeks I'm now sick everyday feeling pregnant all the time tired bloated ect and this wasn't meant to get this far now it has its messing with my head even more 😭

Anyone got a worse or similar story to mine? No one knows why it failed the first time.

i just made a post aswell.
im not sure if im in the same position as you, but last week i had a medical abortion. I did bleed a fair amount and had bad cramps.
all my symptoms were gone right away. I was in grief and did regret my decision. So fast forward to a week later (now), my symptoms is slowly returning (store breast, a little nausea) but this morning when I woke up, i had a gut feeling that i am still pregnant.

i cant take a pregnancy test to be sure, so i have to call the doctor to check me. I am very much confused since my symptoms did go away and i never thought of the abortion could fail? I didnt know that was even possible, but now that i read some online post i Can see that the pills indeed Can fail.

the thing that confuse me is i did bleed and i did bleed some rather large clots.

Im keen to know how yours failed? Did you bleed? Did you have cramps?

Aw I'm so sorry this has happened to you...
To answer your questions...

I didn't bleed and I had no period cramps I knew it didn't work I feel like I may have been too early as I went for the scan and they saw nothing until a week later then baby popped on screen no heartbeat so I am waiting till Friday to see if it has a heartbeat then they said I can retry the pill if no heartbeat I have to have the injection they give when you have an ectopic pregnancy.

However after taking the first pill I also lost all my pregnancy symptoms I felt less bloated I just felt not pregnant anymore I thought it worked took next lot no bleeding no cramping nothing happened so I knew it didn't as I passed nothing.

Because you have bled and passed clots how far along was you? It sounds like it may have worked the clots is what they are looking for do you have the medical pregnancy test? Or any of your own? I was taking my own and my test got darker and darker so I knew my HCG was still rising.

You symptoms coming back is definitely something I'd be worried about too however depending on how far you was it could be a case of simply time for your hormones to drop which can take up to 6 weeks. The fact you bled passed clots is a good sign it definitely did something. I guess have to wait and see what doctors say it's awful waiting I was only 4 weeks when I found out I'm nearly 7 weeks now I've had to wait and do all that awfully long time.

Don't stress too much I know it's hard I was stressed to the max but honestly you will be okay if you are still pregnant and under 12 weeks you can re try the pill if you are still pregnant and no heartbeat they will give injection.

i bled some blood clots, but i didnt see any tissue. But i mean, i did have cramps and bled. I “filled” around 3 “normal” pads.

i thought it worked the days after. I didnt feel pregnant anymore since all symptoms were gone right away.

but a week after i have had the abortion, i started having sore breast. First i just thought its my body being confused, but then nausea came.
the morning/day after my symptoms are still here and i feel i the flutter in my tummy.
im not sure if my body is just adjusting.
i was 7+3 and had the medical abortion 💗

I had no cramping when I took the second lot of pills nothing happened only thing I got was bad side effects the flu like symptoms fever chills ect..

Hmm maybe the pregnancy didn't fully come out if that's the case don't panic they can inject you doesn't always mean surgery fingers crossed it has worked for you x

Just an update on my story I've done the second round of pills yesterday and today and it's definitely successful I passed a lot of clots bleeding heavy but hardly any pain at all but I am confident my story is now over x
