Medical Abortion At Home

I wanted to come on here and be completely open and honest about my experience with the medical abortion at home. Unfortunately the condom was off and even after the emergency pill within 24hrs it failed. I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant so I contacted bpas and had a health check over the phone which took about 50 mins, she was so lovely . I had to go to the clinic to pick up the tablets. I took the first tablet, step one having zero side effects I even noticed some of my early pregnancy feelings going. Then I popped the 4 second tablets 24hrs later, I waited 30 mins laying down, then after about an hour I noticed slight cramping, and some light spotting then it started to build up getting worse, I past some clots, the pain at 4hrs was excruciating, I've never felt such pain, I was bent over on the floor with a hot water bottle, I quickly took 2 paracetamol and after an they started to work so please take pain killers before so you do not have to suffer like I did. I was close to calling the ambulance due to the pain. It was like my belly was being torn open.....sounds harsh but its how I'd describe the pain I was in. I'm now at 5 hours and laid on the sofa, the pain killers are working nicely. I'm going to try and sleep on the sofa now as I feel so weak and surprising hungry!?...also while the clots were coming out I had loose stools too but it makes you aware of that as a side effect as I guess its making the whole area contract. You have to keep strong. I read another review on here snd she didn't have much pain so its clearly different for everyone but I wanted to share my experience. I never want to go through this again.x

Hope you’re ok now OP.
i had a SA yesterday and would just never go down the medical route from the fear of unknown. I was so scared I’d be the same as yourself then stuck in loads of pain.
if had very minimal cramping afterwards but the whole process was pretty pleasant considering.
it’s not a nice thing to go through, I hope you’re feeling a bit better now. X
