Taking second abortion tablet

Hi. Took my first abortion pill today at 12 noon read umpteen threads on here about people taking the second 24 hours later i feel conflicted as the clinic told me on phone to take my 2nd tablet at 8am Friday, their guide to taking the medication says 8am and the nurse today said friday but their leaflet im pack, clinic website and nhs site says 24 hours is it definitely okay has anyone had negative experience. Im 42 in perimenopause and just want this nightmare to end asap. Just shy of 6 weeks due.

I had an MA is June. I inserted the pills pretty much exactly 24 hours after I swallowed the first pill. I was told any time between 24-48 hours is fine so I opted for the earliest time possible. No problems at all. Passed the pregnancy 4 hours later.

Timed it so that I took the second pill 24 hours later so that I could get through it at the start of the weekend. Absolutely no issues. Passed it about half an hour after additional misoprostol was administered. 2 weeks tomorrow since my abortion and now my bleeding has stopped and I feel like I did before I was pregnant. I was originally going to wait about 36 hours or so but I'm glad I did it exactly 24 hours later.

Spoke to the helpline and was told again to take this tomorrow she actually scared me by saying if I took it today it wouldn't pass correctly. Have now resigned myself to early am tomorrow
