Hi just looking for some advice please and no judgment. We found out I was unexpectedly pregnant about 3 weeks ago. We already have a 14/13 and 8 year old and decided together that we didn’t want any more children. So I contacted MSI who were brilliant on the phone etc and I opted to have the medical abortion at home, the pills came last week and I took the first pill on the Tuesday and then the second set of the day Wednesday. I had some heavy bleeding , lost some blood clots and initially I felt a lot better, didn’t feel as tired or sickly and the pregnancy symptoms seemed to go away, any way I am still bleeding lightly but the last 2 days I’ve felt not 100% again , had the shivers and a lower back ache and been really tired , I’ve been taking paracetamol, I suspect I’ve got an infection, I slept all day yesterday and still didn’t feel right so I rang 111 hoping they could prescribe some antibiotics over the phone but they just told me to go a n e and get checked out, my partner was at work and I was home with our kids so I didn’t go. I slept all night and woke up feeling a little bit better, the shivers have gone and my back ache isn’t as bad , but I still don’t feel 100%. I’m tempted to ring the 24/7 hour open line for Marie stopes and hoping they will just prescribe the antibiotics over the phone without having to go into a clinic , I have anxiety and hate going into medical settings etc . Has anyone got any similar experiences or advice and know
if they are likely to be able to prescribe some antibiotics over the phone , if I can help it I don’t want to go to the clinic,
