Post abortion problems

Hi so I’m wondering if anyone’s been through the same or similar. I had a medical abortion nearly ten weeks ago and I am still bleeding. I’ve had a few episodes of severe bleeding to the point an ambulance has been sent, literally pouring out like a tap, huge clots etc. all my obs come back fine and I was put on tranexamix acid and noretisterone which is supposed to almost instantly stop bleeding. I’ve done the 3 week course and am still bleeding! Im actually really worried something serious is wrong. I have a scan booked for next month but I want to get to the bottom of this now. Any help appreciated x

Hi I had mine 4 weeks ago I bled for 2 weeks then it stopped and a week later the cramps started up again and I’ve been bleeding and cramping on and off. I’m worried it’s not related to the abortion been thinking all kinds like cervical cancer etc 🫣. Maye. You have some retained pregnancy tissue, was ur pregnancy test that comes with the abortion pack negative? Mine was negative, I actually went to the gp a few days ago and she called the hospital up and they said if the test was positive to go down and they’d scan me and if negative to give me antibiotics incase of infection. I made a post but no ones replied so thought I’d reply to yours xx how are you doing now?
