Abortion services in Glasgow

Can anyone offer any advice? I feel completely stuck

i found out im pregnant yesterday after failed morning after pill.

i go abroad in exactly 3 weeks . Its a family holiday we have saved so hard for . Took an extra job to afford. We can move the holiday (policy says we will loss 90% of what we have paid - approx £6300)

local services at Sandyford take around 2 weeks . This means i would have the Medical abortion 1 week before holiday. My insurance wont cover any complications.

im stuck . I cant wait until i return . I wouldnt cope mentally being pregnant that long. My husband wants the baby and its causing issues between us which wont settle until he knows its done.

i cant find anywhere in Glasgow or surrounding areas that can see me quicker.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? what can i do?

Have you considered going private? (If you are really determined..)

Places like London Gynae Centre will do it via postal pills and a phonecall, next day delivery for £400-500 ish, it's a lot but it would speed things up for you?

Thanks for your response. I have looked at private but everywhere i have phoned has said they cannot post to scotland. For legal reasons i would need it delivered to someone in england for onward posting to myself. Thats not possible for me.
the one private hospital that does it here only does surgical at a costly amount. Im only 6 weeks so just need the early at home medical abortion.
