8 weeks still bleeding. Medical abortion

Had medical abortion 8 weeks ago, after 3 weeks went back , retained tissue, was on antibiotics , 4th week went back and period was due as they could see in scan, next day full blown heavy bleeding n tissue came out, bled for 9 days, calmed down a few days with spotting and then heavy bleed again for 10 days n now 2 days of light spotting, 8 weeks of heavy bleeding in total. no tissue, no infection. Was just told hormonal imbalance and it’ll stop. As I became weak and sick they gave me tablets 10 day course to stop bleeding n thn after 10 days il have a period again. Should I just wait and see if my body will naturally stop? Anyone been thru this?

Update the bleeding stopped after 9 weeks and then 6 weeks later a normal period. All back to normal.

however now I have frequent urination all of a sudden

i have been bleeding for 5 weeks since mine no issues when i went for my check but I’m over it and want it to stop but i dont know if it will because it’s depressing now

I was 7wks pregnant and I'm currently coming on to my 7th week of medical abortion and still bleeding or spotting very lightly now. Past few weeks ive felt like It will literally stop all day then I'll wake up with blood. I'm actually so down an depressed. The blood feels sticky and has a smell (not as smelly as the start of abortion but a slight odour). I'm wondering if I should call the sandyford for advice or carry on and see if it just evens itself out.
I should add the test said termination successfull and passed alot of clots after taking the pills. I've been crampy throughout but nothing major.

@ShizzRizz how are things now? I am almost at 4 weeks since my abortion at 6 weeks. I had heavy bleeding with clots for the first 2/3 days then it began to get lighter until I thought it was going to stop. Then at two weeks it got heavier again for a few days then seemed to stop for a day but now I have very light bleeding/spotting again…. It’s driving me crazy I just want my body to go back to normal! I’m also still testing positive on shop tests but I have a clinic test to take again on the weekend when I am 4 weeks past. I guess if that’s positive then il have to have a scan. Although I don’t feel like anything is wrong as such it’s just I want this bleeding to stop!
