We had unprotected sex last night, didn’t think too much about it as it was unexpected (only second time we’ve DTD since having our second baby!) Annoyingly my period came back for the first time two weeks ago which puts me right in the middle of my cycle. We DTD on day 15, today is day 16 but as this is my first proper cycle back, I don’t know when or if I have ovulated yet. I can’t take Ella one due to breastfeeding and I’m overweight so I know that makes levonorgestrel less effective and also that it doesn’t work anyway if I’ve ovulated. Realistically is there any point taking it today or is it just a case of waiting and hoping?
(I don’t want the coil fitted, and yes I know we were stupid for not using protection!)
