Travel after CVS procedure

Hello,

I'm looking for some advice. My first scan showed a raised NT level so on Wednesday I had a CVS procedure to find out if our baby has any chromosomal conditions. I have found some threads on here which have been so helpful in showing me I am not alone & the advice has been amazing. So hopefully someone can have some advice for me in this case.

We're supposed to be travelling to New York a week today for 4 nights and my husband and I are at a loss with what to do. I will be nearly 15 weeks pregnant at time of travel.

We've spoken to the midwife who has said it's entirely up to us, and our documents showing the CVS procedure has been done should be enough for travel insurance to claim our money back. However, the insurance company has said they can't tell us either way until we actually make a claim.

The other thing is I'm wondering whether a break may actually be good for us while waiting for the CVS results. Although with the slight increased risk of miscarriage, should we be travelling in the first place? We can't find any support with what to do so any advice would be gratefully received.
