TFMR - low anterior placenta

I have chosen to terminate my pregnancy for medical reasons (a very much wanted pregnancy), we found out fetal complications at 12 week scan (22nd Dec).
I had to wait until yesterday for a phone consultation with BPAS. Due to previous c section, I was sent for a scan today before my surgical termination procedure on Friday.
After an ultrasound and an internal scan today, it appears my placenta is low and anterior. As a result, BPAS are unable to go ahead with the termination as it is too much risk to perform at the small clinics. I was told that I would be referred to specialist and the procedure would still be the same but it would be performed at an NHS hospital to be safer.
I’m now back to waiting for more information and another date. I am already 14weeks+4 and I’m so upset and angry that this is being dragged out this long.
Has anyone had this experience with a low placenta/c-section scar and a surgical termination? I could really do with some positive stories.

Hi @danni94 i’m so sorry to read your post, I really hope that you were able to have your procedure quickly and that all went well. I didn’t have the issues you had but had a surgical tfmr on Friday at my hospital at 16 weeks after 3 agonising weeks of tests and scans so I know how you feel as you just want to be on the other side of the procedure and starting the healing process. Sending you a big hug x
