Morning lovely, didn’t want to leave you alone.
I have recently found out that I am pregnant again and have request a termination. It will be my 3rd (please no judgement, very happy life married with our children etc). I had a medical abortion as a uni student and surgical abortion in between babies when I simply wouldn't have coped. I also had a miscarriage in between other pregnancies.

I found the medical abortion extremely painful BUT this was because I was totally unprepared and looking back wasn’t given the support or information that might be available now.

It hurt me because I didn’t know know what to expect. I reacted badly to the tablets that you take first and was extremely sick within a couple of hours, then next day the next tablets bought on pain and bleeding quickly and I was just unprepared. No pain relief, “light flow pads” etc.

Everyone manages differently, for some it is like a period pain, others like mine more intense. So I would be prepared for sickness, heavy bleeding and very strong pain… unsure of your history but I have since had children and experienced labour etc and would certainly liken the pain to several of my contraction pains if that helps with perspective.

Thinking of you and happy to PM if you need the support today x

morning, thank you so much for your reply to me, it means so much. i had a surgical termination in July, and I did want this option again however I was advised this would mean weeks of waiting and sort of pushed to choose this option. I'm scared, I am really scared in all honesty. I don't have the option to wait the weeks for the surgery, even though beforehand I had a seamlessly painless experience and had virtually no bleeding whatsoever. I am scared,
really scared
